JB4 #5 Misfire solved.. plug question..

Started having cyl 5 misfires when the JB4 was on.. no problem when off.. so swapped the #5 & #1 coil and dropped a new plug from the dealer in #5 and all is well now. Going to get the full set of new plugs now, question is whats the difference, if any, between these two sets ?

http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335...arch/ZGR6STE2/

Here's some pics of the one I removed.. have about 31k on the car now, 6k of it with me.. guessing prior owner had JB+ because the clip was already broke

Probably just get the Bosch, the cheaper one of the two, as the OEM plugs are Bosch also. I don't see the point of paying an extra $50 for the other ones......just my .02

Is that oil or gasoline on the thread of the plugs?

I personally wouldn't get anything from ECSTuning..they tend to have most parts for this car mixed in with the rest of the 3 series...i was shocked more than a few times actually

not really sure.. should the threads not be that dirty after 30k ? perhaps it was not screwed in tightly enough ?

Sometimes during oil changes oil will drip on the coilpak and make it's way down...

A Plug change is a good idea, and I usually recommend changing them every 20-25K when tuned. Its great preventative maintenance and if you DIY its pretty cheap
