heres a few recommended bodyshop
- Fastrack autobody - Bismark Collision - Automind personally i recommend fastrack, the cars that got work done at fastrack all turn out pretty good all so, when choosing a body shop, remember u get what u pay for.

I had my (replica) aero lip painted by #1 Collision on Boundary. The guys did a great job of getting the paint to match and in the end I was very happy with the result. The surface/material of the lip I gave them wasn't great (in fact some other shop basically refused to paint it), so #1 did have to work on my lip more than once, but they made sure it was perfect before giving it back to me.
Whatever shop you choose I'd recommend you make sure they warranty their work. #1 was definitely good about this and even gave me a loaner bimmer while my car was in. I've also had experiences with these shops for other paint work: Automind (Richmond and Burnaby) Starlite Autobody In a couple days time I'll be able to tell you how AK Autoworks is |

IMO that's most important thing to look for in a good paint job. I've been to body shops which only do a sloppy one layer clear coat, and needless to say the paint starts peeling in less than a year.

So far so good though And it looks just about the same as OEM, most ppl aren't gonna be able to tell the difference. Will let you know how AK works out. |

I just paint from the can that I mix at lordco! It's 98% match and I can plow through the snow without chipping paint off. I used a flexible primer before paint

Btw I got my paint work back from AK. They're not bad. Wish they had checked everything a little more thoroughly cause I had to get them to repaint (and hey, I'm not thattt picky ). But they were quite cooperative and willing to make me happy, so no huge complaints. |

Finally dug it up.. if you haven't already bought one! Sent you a PM. I think I paid around $150-$180 to have it painted at No. 1. It ended up being more effort than they thought so not sure if they'd still do it for that price, haha. I'm actually going there again soon for a repair.
