winter storage
i live in edmonton alberta and i store my 335i in a garage for the winter. it is not a heated garage and is poorly insulated. While in storage last year i would start it probobly about 1 every 2 weeks. would starting it in the winter leave to much moisture in the engine if i am not driving it? should i maybe just pull the battery out and leave it alone for winter? just curious on what would be safer.

Consensus is not to start the car periodically at the risk of building up too much condensation that you have alluded to. My suggestion would be to add some fuel stabilizer to a full tank of gas, and connect a battery tender to keep a reasonable charge on the battery.
Besides that, kiss it goodbye for the next six months Asif |

+1...and fill up the gas tank plus the usual weatherization rigamarole. Don't forget to send it a postcard while hibernating. It's going to be a long wait.
