This happened to me a few times recently.

It has stopped after I discovered that the negative battery terminal was loose.
But I'm not sure if the loose battery terminal is the reason this is not happening anymore.

+1. Set to doorjamb specs and then drive the same route to test. Also, how much tread is on the tires, especially the rears?

This happens to me everyday in my parking garage. I park on the 5th floor and theres a small gap in the floor covered by an inch metal frame that the cars drive over. It flashes DTC every single time I go over it and Im only going 5mph. Im like SERIOUSLY????

45 PSI in tires? It's normal to have it blink under hard acceleration on bumps.

Yeah, it's normal. You go >100 MPH enough to warrant 45 PSI???? LOL

ok, it seems the pressure is too high. ill bring it down to 40 and see what happens.

Tires are 4 months old.

Thanks fellas!

As I believe BMW specs 33 psi Front and 41 Rear for 18" tires on your car, why not try those pressures? While inflating the fronts to 40 will reduce the understeer, it will also degrade the ride and make the car much less stable at highway speeds in windy conditions.

If you don't like the ride and handling with 33/41, then perhaps you might experiment with a compromise like 36/41.

My car is suppose to be at 32psi front and 36psi rear.

45psi is really high. Isn't that just below the max pressure rating on most tires?

All this means is that the rear tires slipped a little going over a bump. Anything that would reduce traction will cause it to slip, such as too much air in tires, tires that are worn, going over metal or other slick surfaces. Going over a bump unloads the back end of the car which causes reduced traction. Any of the variables above will amplify the loss of traction. In the end there is absolutely nothing to worry about. The DTC is doing it's job.
