Pulled over at 120mph - No Ticket!

So I was cruising with Tarthus on County Line going west from 441 to University to take the turn pike and we were topped on 4th gear (or fifth?) and pass by a cop parked on the same direction as us. Tarthus kept it at 100 or so and I slowed down to about 80. Tarthus took the light on green and made the right turn and I got the red. I pulled to the right and turn on my emergency lights. Cop sees I pulled voluntarily and pulls next to me and THEN turns his lights on. Here it goes!

Officer: Is there any reason why you driving so fast?
Me: Ah..not really sir..I..I just didn't know.
Officer: Do you realize you were doing over 100mph racing that other bimmer? (Tharthus from E90post!)
Me: No, sir. I was doing 80.
Officer: Is that so?
Me: Yes, sir. I was doing 80.
Officer: Can I see your license please?
Me: Yes, sir. (Took it out and gave it to him)
Officer: So you live in miramar?
Me: Yes, sir.
Officer: When was your last ticket?
Me: ahh.. 2 months ago, sir. 63 on a 50 going to west palm beach.
Officer: Have you ever been arrested?
Me: No, sir.
Officer: Wait here.

Takes literally like 2 minutes.

Officer: Do you realize your license was just taken out of suspension?!!!!
Me: Yes, sir.
Officer: Do you wanna to loose your license?
Me: No, sir.
Officer: Slow down buddy. I don't want to see your car split in half on a pole. Go home.
Me: Yes, sir.

Trust me. This was the best lesson I learned. Hearing those words coming from the officer's lips really shocked me and got me thinking. Very wreckless of me and I truly learned my lesson. No ticket though!

I also love driving fast, but fast driving should be kept on a race track where there's no danger to innocent bystanders and more controlled risk to the driver.

I quoted the newest "death thread" as a warning due to the fact that the OP cited RACING in his post. I've got nothing against driving like an asshole when on open tarmac in bucolic settings, as it's a victimless crime if all goes well, but I've seen several posts today where >120mph speeds were cited in very glib prose. Regareless of dirving expertise, you're staking your life on the integrity of tires (LOL) and tarmac when you go this fast. That's my 1st and last PSA.

I didn't know it was even possible to get a ticket for taking a turn too fast.
