Took delivery last night - 335i w/Oil Cooler
I took delivery of my 335i last night. The wait was brutal but as we all know it's well worth it. Here are the specs:
Black Saphirre Terra Leather M-AERO Kit Auto Premium Sport Heated Seats Navigation Comfort Access The car is beyond my expectations. I had a 2002 325i and it's worlds apart. The 335i is more refined in every driving aspect. The steering wheel is tight and responsive. Now I just need to wait a month or so before I can really let it rip!! One thing I was very concerned about is the IDrive. I have a Navi in my Honda and it's very user friendly, but after 1 hour of seat time it's a piece of cake. Keep in mind this is the first time I've actually used it. The M-Aero kit is a really nice touch. I was hesitant at first based on the pictures I've seen, but it's so much better in person! And I do have the Oil Cooler (3/7/07 production). I tooled around for an hour looking at almost every 335i they had on the lot, none of them had it....so I was extremely concerned but luckily for me I'm good to go. One downside is the Automatic. I have always had a manual tranny and after 100 miles I was greatly missing it!! Hopefully I just need more seat time...only time will tell. |

They're little ones. They'll fit in the back of the coupe....or the trunk! Just Kidding. Congrats on the ride. I must also request some pics.

Thanks for the comments guys. As for M kit, it was installed at the VPC. It's a bit overpriced at $2500, but it saves me the trouble of having to find a reputable body shop to do the job. I believe the parts for the kit runs about ~$1400, then if you find someone to paint and install for 800 to 1000 you'd save a little...

One other note, I noticed the rear bumper is body colored to match the paint. However other M kits I have seen are not. Not sure at this point which way I'd prefer. Regardless they add a nice touch...
