3 series - facelift

Can this be it? Will this be the new design or shape? What do you think of it?

I doubt that there will be any change to the rear quarter panel or headliner as suggested by this picture which is obviously an extended coupe. I am thinking the rear lights will be updated to look similar to the x5 or refreshed 7 - a bit more upscale. Probably minor tweaks upfront however minimal sheetmetal alterations.

I believe the Sedan M3 will not look like the September 2007 facelift sedan

I hope not. I like the front end of my 330i. The coupes should have a longer hood to balance the extra butt length it has (at least visually).

Interesting PS... looks as long as a 750li. Perhaps they will modify the face a bit to more resemble the coupe, but I would think they will still want to leave some distict differences.

I have a bad feeling that they will incorporate the bicycle reflectors into the facelift... for MY 2009.

If you want something to wonder about, then wonder what this bumper is that was seen testing last year

nah, 0 chance it's the facelift on the first pic. That's just a bad photoshop, if you look at the body shape it's completely different from the sedan, and I am sure the body style is not changing for a few years.

I think the current headlamps match the shape of the E90 and the bumper in Fleets picture apears to have given it a nice grin.

I really like the look of the E90... I did when I first saw it. I like the scowl and agressive look of the "eagle eyes". I think even the mid-life facelift is too soon to make drastic changes to it. It's not like it isn't selling. Maybe just a tweak here or there to freshen the look... it will be interesting to see what they do.

Changing the kidneys to be more like the coupe would be a good change... the chrome milk moustache could go...

That picture is definitely derived from the coupe and they just fit two more doors. I am sure there won't be a body change except shape of hood, bumper, and fender to fit the new headlights.

Looks like a Passat. I think the current design looks sportier.

Wow that is such an improvement on the E90! Thats what they should have come up with in the first place. Elegant and smooth. Like the coupe... Nice!

There is alot of dreaming and photo shopping on that website. Example is the 645CLS fantasy photoshop on that site just got bounced by the CS Concept 4 door coupe that appeared at the Shanghai auto show. Looks nothing like current 6 or the photoshop fantasy. If you guys have not seen the BMW CS, its in this months Autoweek or Autoweek.com

Please no. Honestly I'm not a huge of the e92's look. IMO the e90 looks sporty as it is. I don't think they will or can change much outside of bumpers, fenders, trunk and taillights, which listing everything does seem like a lot but I don't see the changes being drastic. I think the headlights will be left alone simply cuz they won't want the e90 and e92 to look that alike.
