AR DP's ... dumb question before install

My AR Dp's (catless) have two bungs on each pipe, but in my looking at the installation diy's, my understanding is that there is only one o2 sensor per pipe. Is this wrong? If not, why the other bung, and how do I fill it?

This.. Make sure you do not cross them. I would mark them as they do in the DIY..
