335D Vibration

Hi All,

My E91 335d sems to have some vibration through the drive train at low engine speeds when under acceleration, especially when in higher gears, for example accelerating from 60mph when the car is in 6th at about 1500 rpm. The vibration goes once at a constant speed or once the engine speed passes through 2500rpm and is lees pronounced when accelerating in lower gears. A couple of respected independents have looked and can find nothing wrong with engine or gearbox, one suggested engine mounts but was sceptical saying it would be very rare on an E9x model. I got the feeling that they thought I was worrying about nothing, has anyone else experienced anything like this or is it just a diesel thing? I have come from driving a long line of high performance petrol engines so it may be nothing but gut feeling tells me it is not quite right, any thoughts on this gratefully received.

Thanks
Ian
