Milltek 335i Exhaust, thoughts?

Hello chaps!

Looking to replace the exhaust on my 335i and ive heard good things about the BMW Performance Exhaust but i want to explore my other options, ive seen the Milltek exhaust and it looks like its a fully cat-back system and ive heard they do good things with Audi's and other brands

Has anyone had any experience with them or got one?

Or could someone recommend me another system?

Im not looking to spend Akraprovic money

I have one on mine and it's lovely. It's a nice deep note, but not chavvy or antisocial at all. It really compliments the car rather than ruining it. Also, it's great because it does not drone or anything and the 100mm tail pipes look really cool.

IIRC the BMW performance one is also nice, but produces a more raspy note - so i guess it's just up to you to decide which you like best.

I've read that they might not fit the 335i perfectly? How good is the fit on yours? And what do you think of the build quality?

Mike.

Sorry, i haven't got any - i'll try to get a couple tonight. But i find videos rubbish for judging sound. When i looked at the videos on YT of 335i's with Milltek exhausts it sounded chavvy, but in real life it sounds magnificent.

This might be true - i bought my car with the Milltek on from a guy on here (Czech335) so he will be the best one to ask. IIRC, he had to take it to a couple of places to get it properly fitted (first place made a hash of it i think) as it *may* have needed a bit of modification to fit.
