Can't tell if my interior is leather

Hi,
I just bought CPO '07 Silver 335i coupe with coral red interior. It's got a grain to it (lools like a snakeskin texture), but I can't tell if it's leather, leatherette or pleather. This is real stiff stuff and I don't want to use the wrong cleaners or conditioners on it. Any ideas?

Check your door panel. If it has a horizontal stitched seam, you have leather.

Plus, I don't think they have leatherette in this color.

If it's coral red it's leather. Leatherette only available in black and tan....Case solved.

sure way to tell leather from anything else........push with your finger. If it wrinkles around your finger, its cow...if not its vinyl.

if after 50k miles your seat still look like new, then it has to be.... leatherette, not real leather LOL

Hmm. My the Coral Red seats on my '08 128i still look like new after 34,000 miles. I guess it must be that rare Coral Red Leatherette - or perhaps regular applications of Zymol leather conditioner...
