F30 335 sedan or E90 M3 sedan?

Considering we know what the powerplant will be for the F30, which would you choose? Why?

PS...didn't want to post this in either the M3 or F30 forum. Too biased.

F30 is ugly, probably expensive, and non Ms should not be compared to Ms. Sure, the M forums can be biased, but when you went to Harvard, why should your time be wasted by HS dropouts? LOL

F30 335i if it's going to be a daily driver. I personally think it looks good, very modern.

M3 if you prefer the V8 sound, tracks often, and don't mind additional stops for gas.

E90 M3 will have a more special motor. wind one out to redline and compare the sound to a 335

If you don't mind higher insurance and a sweet ole Gas Guzzler Tax by all means get the M3 Sedan for it is AWESOME!! Did I forget the 12 MPG??? Still take the M3 Sedan don't really like what i've seen of the F30.

E90 M3.

I'd personally get an 07/08 335 and wait a few years for the F30 M3, I think it'll be worth the wait and you won't exactly be "missing out" in an E9X 335.

Look at the difference in fuel economy and regular maintenance costs. That's not to mention the daily drivability of the 2 cars and the difference in power delivery. I'd choose the 335i and tune it.

so the m3, even in sedan format, makes for a rough daily driver? Too rough even for the enthusiast?

No, the M3 would make a great daily, Im assuming your talking about a used E90 M3? Because I don't think there are available new anymore (new to order).
Because a used E90 M would probably be cheaper then an F30 335i?

How is a M3 not a good daily driver? Why does everyone say that? Because of bad MPGs? Who cares? You're driving a M3 you can obviously afford gas. People are trying to make themselves feel better about not having one.

I would choose the F30 335i. You can also reach comparable power levels and much higher torque levels via tuning, compared to the e90 M3.

I'm sure many people have the means for buying an m3. I mean I know several executives who drives Toyotas and Hondas not only because of their reliability, but also for their fuel efficiency as every cent counts. I had the option to get a M6 or a M3, I decided not to because I myself preferred many aspects of the 335is and guess what... fuel efficiency was one of them. So you really have to stop with the lame cognitive dissonance generalizations. Different cars for different people.

m3 without a doubt. You are going to see a million f30 on the road in a few more months. Get the m3 and be different

Yes, a used e90 M3 sedan. Im thinking a good CPO M3 will be pretty even, as far as pricing, with new F30 335 sedan within a few short months.

I don't like the fact that the N55 only has a single T4 turbo. But even if the F30 had an N54, i'd still get the M3. The NA V8 is going to be the last of it's kind since they're switching everything over to turbo now. I'd get the E90 M3 and probably keep it for life.
