Any YouTube partners/Monetized Videos Peeps in here?

Anybody here have gotten an invite from YouTube to be a Partner or have their videos be Monetized?

I got a "Monetize your videos and receive $$" invitation/email but think for the most part its all a bunch of crap unless your a full time YouTube whore making videos everyday =) no offense to anyone haha..

Honestly...i don't even know how or why i got the invite, i don't even have a lot of videos or anything good / popular. I do have a pretty old account that has a lot of channel hits and uploaded video views, but thats about all.

i do it lol, i get like a dollar every two months, money is money lol and i only have like 10k hits on my videos .

There was an article on Yahoo the other day about how people with successful viral vids make a good deal of money.

For instance, the one of the girl getting the surprise trip to disney for her bday earned the family enough to pay for her college. On top of that, disney wanted to use the vid in their commercials.

In essence, a lot of them aren't full time vid makers, just people who recorded something funny and got some bucks for it.

thats what i figured its gone be like chump change. i don't record cute little kids or little fucking cats that do dumb stupid things and expect that to make me rich lol. some people just get lucky like that i guess.

How much does youtube pay per view anyways? I have a few exhaust videos that got a decent amount of views and they keep messaging me to join their program.

Wonder if people that have consistent million view on 50+ videos get paid a large sum of money..

famous youtube people like raywilliamjohnson,sxephil,ijustine who regularly get 100,000+ views per video make shit load of money. I think RWJ makes 200k+ a year just on views.

I am a youtube partner, and it shows you how much you can earn/make. I became one recently after my forza videos started to become popular.

I get about 1.23 dollars per 1000 views but it fluctuates constantly and also depends if people click on advertisements or not. This is my first month as a partner and it says I have made $7.30. The sad thing is that they only pay you once you pass $100. Until then it just keeps adding to your count.

You get a decent amount, i'm not sure exactly. but its not something close to big. maybe every 1000 plays is a 1.00 not to sure exactly

I got that invite too and I just got above 10,000 total views. I rarely post videos and I don't think it's worth it for me. Good info in this thread though, thanks
