Kirkland v Angulo
What a great fight!!! Had me on the edge of my seat, anyone else catch this fight?
This is what real boxing is and should be. No, controversy, no cheap shots, just straight heart, skills, and sweat. If you missed it they are replaying it on HBO, such a great fight a week before Pacman v Marquez. |

Ugh! I was so disappointed in this fight. I can't believe Angulo punched himself out in the first round and basically had nothing left for the rest of the fight. That was dumb. I have to give it to Kirkland though and his conditioning for surviving that first round knock down.

I don't think Angulo trained for a 12 round fight, he probably thought he could get Kirkland out of there in 3 rounds or so.
