snow chains
as i don`t intend going down the winter tyre route, i thought about snow chains, in particular the michelineasy grip composite 235 45 17 model.
has anyone used these or similar, and if so, how good were they? can`t escape going up hills to work, so need to be good. any comparisons with snow socks? thanks chaps. |

I've used snow socks and Thule K-Summit snow chains on a 320d M Sport....
Both are great but the Thule snow chains fit on in about a minute each side ... or quicker (the K-Summit are dear as they fit totally from the outside and self tension). Snow socks are OK even on M Sport when you get the hang of how to do it but take a few minutes a side. |
