link doesn't work. there is no DIY for the 2.5 upgrade. It looks as though you are talking about a harness update - that doesn't make it a 2.5.

they were originally going to provide instructions but decided against it because most people would probably fuck it up. the upgrade is a cheap $50, and totally worth it

I dont think this would help much, since a lot of surface mount resisters/capacitors arent labeled.

Only odd part is the $21 shipping for 1 way… lmao
Flat rate priority for $6. Guess they haven't heard of that one.

That's awesome, I was going to bring up the same thing. Im not arguing the product, its stellar. Id rather have them charge me $65 and be honest about the shipping. I'll find out how much priority return shipping is when I return my product.

I asked Robert and he just said its standard shipping price in system for all orders or something.
It's not shipped priority. He said 3day I think.
I'd rather it be higher price as well. $21 shipping is a but nuts for an item so small that weighs few ounces probably.
I'd be okay if that included a return label to send Rev2 back.
Anyway, hope the rev2.5 impresses with the new aggressive maps when I get it.

UPS 3 day air shipping costs $18-21 depending on where it is shipped. We could ship flat rate US Postal for considerably cheaper but it would take up to twice as long as to get there.

And we don't offer a DIY because we don't want anyone (ourselves included) to have to go through the on-the-phone troubleshooting process when a SD component isn't soldered on/removed properly. Been there, done that. Don't want to repeat it again thank you very much
