1/4 mile runs, got made fun of!

This was all in good fun, I have an xi, on this one run, I messed up and accidentally double tapped my paddles to go from 1st to 3rd and lost to this truck. But the strip I go to is old school and at the :22 mark, I got called out by the announcer!

I lost my slip but I cut a 1.73 60 and the truck cut a 1.69.

Nice runs man! There is nothing worse than giving the paddles a double tap.
Unfortunately, I know from experience... lol

My mods are v5 7-29 maps, ets 5inch fmic, and bms cones.

I just added on ar catless dps and rear m3 bushings.

I know I can break 12.3, I only got in 3 runs that day and was starting off in 1st. It just feels like I'm putting so much strain on the tranny if I start in 2nd.

Dude, where do you live, that trap speed is aweful low for the mods you have. You in high elevation? In not you might want to conduct some logs.

Im an xi, so I'm already going to be about 3mph slower than you i guys. I was running these on Map 1 which I think autotune was set to about 14? My other run I messed up on the launch and had a 2.0 60, 12.55 1/4 with a 112.5 trap.

So after my downpipes I probably should see around 114-115mph especially once I up the boost to 16psi.

I'm pretty happy with my times so far, I have more tweaks to do.

You should give the new aggressive maps a run, a lot more power in those.

Up to about 2500 rpm, I short shift first at like 5k rpms. It just wasn't a good day for racing. I know I can do better.
