eurocharged tune and shaking problem
i have ordered the eurocharged ecu tune for my 2010 e92 335i n54 engine
with the DCT 7 speed transmission mods are injen cold air intake dual cone and i send the original file to jerry(the tuner) then he send me the tuned file i flashed the ecu and i go on run to check the speed limiter if its limited or not while i was driving i got all the error lights in the dash then jerry sent me a new file it was better but the rpm was shaking when i give full boost like the car wants to go but there is something holding it i told jerry about the problem he was trying to fix it and every time it was getting better then he said make a dyno run with the stock file ond the tuned one i dyno'ed the car and i send him the sheets he send me new file but with the same problem and less performance then he said the car cant handle boost maybe the bov or wastegate cant handle a boost i've ordered the turbosmart plump back bov's i got them installed yesterday and i still got the same problem with the tuned file when the car in the stock ecu tune i've got no problem's at all does any one can help me to solve this problem or does any one got same that problem ?? |

Is there anyway you can datalog with the eurocharged? If not, then i suggest investing in a BT to allow you to datalog and find out where the problem is. Either that or order a Cobb AP

But as Brey said, i'd recommend just ordering another tune. Get in touch with jeff@topgearsolutions for the best price and unbiased advice on tunes. FYI, with the Cobb AP its plug and play(literally.) |

Here is what the BT tool can do. http://bavariantechnic.com/
That includes AFR and Boost levels. No, this tool is not a tune, simply a device for logging, and testing. You can use this device with almost any tune. The Cobb AP device can act as a BT tool and is a tune that reflashes the ecu like the euro tune. The jb4 is a piggy that you install in the ecu, but also can do most of the functions of the BT tool, but its performed differently. I would work on getting you euro tune fixed or get a refund, then reconsider you tune chose. Please do research before you mod. |

Back when I had my 335, I beta tested a flash that did the same thing when it was tuned to hit a pertain PSI (I think it was around 14 or 14.5). It was then dialed back 1 psi or so and it went away. I'd imagine with the temperatures the OP is in, that would hit easy. I thought flash tuners have gotten around that though.

get rid of that tune and get COBB or Procede tune.
Buy Intercooler and catless downpipes. Now you can run 15-16 psi .

The nice thing about the procede is it will adapt itself to whatever mods you have installed and give you the max performance out of your car. I switched from procede to COBB for the moment but the adaptability of the procede is hard to beat especially in cooler temps where the procede ups the boost. Cobb seems to do just the opposite, ups the boost in warmer temps and drops boost in cooler temps.
