Procede feeling "normal"

Any one else here starting to feel the Procede a little normal? I plan on swapping to a stock map for a day or two and then going back. LOL

Joy.

That's funny man. I might go test drive a standard 335i to remember the difference.

I drove in a 325 convertible all weekend, then back into a 335 this morning, and it felt like someone added 150 hp to my car... seemed like a beast.

My advice... drive a slow car for a few days, the get back in your 335.

I drive me girlfriend's e90 325 back to back with my procede'd 335i. I just want to make sure the procede is still kickin like it did the day I installed it.

Ive been driving my old Audi for the past week or so. This way when I get back in the 335 I can appreciate the PROcede all over again.

I had a brand new 328i loaner for a day last week, and realized how much power my car has with the PROcede! One starts taking for granted the power, and then you try to make that quick pass in another car and realize that it just doesn't "go" the way you are used to with the PROcede. So yes, I guess it becomes "normal" to have that power, until you have to drive something else. PROcede rules!! :rocks:

It's human nature, you get used to things, and then appreciate it less and less..

drive a POS around for a few days, then hop back in ur car...

+1 Drive a POS and then hop in your ride. You will feel humbled/grateful.

Just get a bike. Nothing with 4 wheels will feel fast again.

+1

However, shatter your arm and break your neck in a 120mph+ road racing accident and you begin to appreciate trading off acceleration for safety features

Yeah, you definitely get used to it...until you drive a stock 335i (or something even slower). I had a stock 335i and a stock 535i for loaners while my car was being serviced, and I just couldn't believe the difference in power. There's just so much more "get up and go" in a PROcede 335i!!!!

In many cases even when you put the procede back in, it won't seem as fast as it was when you initially put it in. That's just because you know what to expect out of the car and you won't have that initial "Oh Shit!!" factor.

I just know that from some of the other cars Shiv tuned... when you went from no boost to 23+ psi in less than a second... talk about a neck snap. Recommendation... let someone else drive your car with you in the passenger seat (someone you trust but also someone who can push it). Then hold on for the ride.... its a whole lot different when you can't control what's happening
