I felt a great disturbance, as if millions of tires suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

i think you need to add a rear fenders to your c63 and fit 325 rear tires on it asap. it would be even faster in straight line. LOL

Would also help in the corners. For now, I'm just thinking about a CF rear diffusor.

Is that the "standard" motor, or with the dev pack?

Yessir. It's a beast of a car and the 2012's have major improvements. Mine gets built in January.

Congratulations again on your purchase ... You should try some day to make it over there and take a factory tour. In 2009 May when I was there the tour guide made us wait at one station where the carrosserie of a Benz arrived (less doors) in a horizontal position then two robots tilted it vertically and moved it into a station where six robots three on each side completed the final tack welds it was a sight to see. The tour guide told us that this operation of 1800 tack welds on the carrosserie used to take 62 seconds and the engineers reduced it to 52 seconds

The assembly area of the engine was another highpoint one could eat off the floor it was that clean something to see for sure.

I highly recommend a factory tour at least once in our lives be it BMW or Benz ... I did it including Porsche and the true work horse VW in Wolfsburg and Dresden. Unforgettable experience.

Wow, either severely underrated (rated at 481)or very little DT loss. Or both

I saw one in the dealer yesterday... Steel grey w/o p31 pack. I loved it... the only thing I really don't like is that the rear fenders look really wimpy, especially compared to the fronts. Definitely needs a custom 1-2" rear wide body to make it perfect.

For an Auto, it is outstanding. It mainly has to do with the new 7 speed MCT transmission. It's not a true duel clutch but it has a wet clutch pack(Think motorcycle) instead of a torque converter.

How much did you pay for the C63? I'm looking for a new car.

I am guessing it will be nearly impossible to get it at invoice..

The wait is the worst part!

It came out to like 80k with the 2k off. MBZ has an offer running where if you are driving a competitors car, they'll knock up to 4k off. The C range gets 2k off. It's going to pretty hard to get it at invoice. TrueCar tells me that I still have room for another 4k off but I highly doubt that I'll be able to get that. Once the car comes in, I plan on negotiating some more.

Dang, the coupe is pretty damn expensive.

I am looking at the sedan. Was hoping I could get it near invoice.

Does a 335 qualify as a competitor car? Or they mean a direct competitor like a M3? Would I have to trade it in or could I just show them my car and car title? Planning to sell my car using private party not trade in.
