Does anyone have a Go Pro HD hero cam?
I am considering the Motorsports Hero 2 camera for Christmas and I am wondering if anyone has it or has used it? Is the quality as good as some of the presented videos or not really? Is there a big difference between the Hero 1 and Hero 2?
Thanks Again I present this picture of Adriana Lima in a $2 million bra as forward payment. ![]()

I have one. Yes there is a difference. The Hero 2 has the capability to shoot at a higher frame rate, so you can do really cool slow motion shots. Also I think the image sensor is better so you get better colors. There are a bunch of comparison videos on YouTube that will answer all your questions.

How about the mounts and suction cups that the motorsports version comes with? R they pretty decent and allow many mounting capabilities?

I have two HD 2's. I was planning to use instead of rig mounting my DSLR for drive scenes. However, I thus far have tested the suction cups and arms, and I do not feel like I can reliably use the suction mount. Instead, I plan to use two vacuum mounts, one which I tether to the camera incase of emergency.
Further, I still plan to use the DSLR to get the good ol fashioned rig shots. Many use these for their vehicles when vibrations occur during usage. |
