Yeah. World loses their minds over some non OG, retroed, typical jays. A man was even killed here in DC for them, and a nearby shopping mall delivery truck driver jumped for the shipment of shoes to the mall. Disgusting. I think that says all that needs to be said about the quality of people and the "type" of individuals these shoes attract. Won't say anything more, I'm sure you can figure that out.

Killed? Wow. I didn't hear about that. That's just wrong. All for some shoes. Luckily I skipped all this and got it online.

Nah you can pay more than retail and get them ahead of time at certain sneaker boutiques, such as www.vintagekicks.com But just about every sneaker release is like that nowadays lol.

I remember these were so limited that they led to some crazy crowds, but nothing like the jordans.

Nike makes a billion dollars a year on the Jordan franchise. Blows my mind how they can get the poorest part of the country to spend all of the governments money on shoes.

LOL. Sold all my Jays years ago. Got some dunks and air maxes still, they're real chill sneakers to have. Ever since Jordan brand shoes have depreciated with all the reissuing, I've disregarded them.

I received my shipment one day early. I remember when UPS dropped them on during the middle of the day. I thought to myself "the hell? I didn't have anything scheduled to be delivered today." Low and behold, I opened the box and there were 18 pairs of the 11's. I sold them all out in matter of half an hour. The VERY next day I was running late and the building manager called me declaring there was a small riot outside in the parking lot trying to get into the mall. I told him to just tell the mob "the 11's are sold out." The moment he said that, the entire crowd dispersed as if a gas grenade was thrown in the middle of them. It's insane. When I finally got to work my friend had footage of how quickly the mob grew and dispersed.

Those aren't even *that* crazy.

Dunk SB Paris' go for $6-7k in 10-11s easy. Both are hot shoes though, I've never been a fan of jordans myself.

Easy 10k here:

LOL at people going crazy over such dispensable products (or standing in line). This includes Iphones, shoes and whatever other items that are mass produced; when you that know soon enough the hype will die or more will be made.
