Mac users, need some help.

Posted here because no one goes in PC section.

I recently purchased a MBP(3 months), and I'm in a pickle. I'm not computer illiterate but at the moment youtube videos stop working at 5 seconds. Images show up about half the time, the internet is working but only on certain sites. I thought it was my ISP but I just connected to a neighbors and it's doing the same. I suppose it could still be our ISP(and they're coming out today supposedly), but I wanted to see if it was my computer.

I downloaded Adobe Flash for it when I got it, and now when I try to update it, it's saying it isn't recognized. I checked for OS X updates and nothing.

halp.

New user works fine, does the time machine have to be configured by me day one or is it done for me?

Unfortunately that only works around the problem and doesn't fix it.. Curious to see what the actual reason and fix is...

Did you try using a PC? j/k

My PC's are all working problem free. Only people that get infected on PC's are clickity clickers that don't know what they are doing. For them, Macs are perfect. If you know what you're doing and are a power user, PC ftmfw.

I converted for the lack of quality hardware that I experienced with PC based units. Had nothing to do with the Windows.

I love my MBP, it's just had a few software issues. I can fix that for free, POS charge ports and batteries I can't.
