new member need help!

Hi, i recently purchased a modded 2007 335i coupe.

It came with a chip mod + dual afe intake.
The used car dealer couldnt tell me what kind of chip was in the car.. can you guys tell me how can i find out what chip my car is using..

i can change between maps using the steering wheel controls but im new to modding and i dont really know what that does, i dont know what the maps do.. its set on map 2.. I need help using the Chip properly

also. the car has an stock exhaust system but it sounds a lil loud and deep to be stock, im not sure if it has a downpipe?

so far i upgraded the Taillights to the newer LCI tails.. I ordered AA BOV kit, VSRF DP, and ETS FMIC 5"... am i going in the right direction?
not really crazy mods, dont got much money to spend.
future mods will be remus race quads, mtech rear with quad carbon diffuser w/ fins.. and possibly the e92 m3 kit with fogs for the front end..
what else mods can i do for the most performance but low budget?

thanks!

Why would you buy DPs if you suspect the car may already have them? Look down past your turbos and you can see if you do. Or crawl under.

Chances are you have a procede or a JB2 or newer. Go into your ecu and you'll be able to tell for sure.

If you already have aftermarket DP's, chances are you can return the ones you just ordered as long as it's returned in the same condition and packaging.

To check your DP's look past the Turbo's and take a picture and we can tell you.

Just open the ECU and take a pic If you can change maps via steering wheel you most likely have a JB4 in there. When you hold the channel down and volume down buttons on the steering wheel does anything happen? (with the car on)

Could just be the 'golf tee' mod making exhaust loud..

As stated, if you are able to switch maps on the fly you will have a piggy back tune of some kind. Open up the ecu and post up the pics.. Nothing wrong with this, I have a JB4 and it's great..

Remember these mods will push up your insurance too!

Okay found out my car must have JB4, because i was using the jb4 command list and it was working, turned on digital gauge.. and whatever..

Also, dont think i have a dp, looked down into the engine, didnt see anything that stood out..

Now. im wondering, how much power would i get outve JB4, AFE DCI, AA bov kit, ETS 5" FMIC, and VRSF DP.. where would my hp range.
