Phone in car

My daughter has changed her mobile phone number. I've changed it in my iphone which is linked to my car. When I go to the phonebook on my idrive and phone my daughter it rings her old number. How do i update the phonebook on my idrive? I thought this just updated automatically from my phone.

I've found mine doesn't seem to update either & yet once connected it seems to take an age synch'ing. The easiest way is probably to unpair the phone & delete the profile from the car & then re-pair which only takes a couple of minutes
