All Season Tires On Sport / Luxury / Modern?
I was wondering what type of tires were being used on the 18" Sport, Luxury and Modern lines?
Are they All Season like the standard 17"'s? In the past, at least on the E90/E92's the Sport package gave you summer tires. We were at the Detroit Auto Show this past weekend and BMW couldn't answer this question for us with confidence. (They said they were All Season but questioned their answer) Thanks |

Tires
Was just at Detroit they were 225/45/18. I am pretty sure they were all seasons. Pirelli was the tire I saw on them. A little interesting since I thought BMW was high on continental.

Okay I just went through all of my countless Detroit Auto Show pics.
BMW 328i Base - Pirelli Cinturato P7 (225/50/R17 94V) (All Season) BMW 328i Sport (225/45 R18 91V) - (Had both Pirelli Cinturato P7's and Goodyear EfficientGrip RunOnFlat) The Red sport 328i raised up behind ropes had Pirelli Cinturato P7's and the Red sport 328i on the floor that you could get into had Goodyear EfficientGrip RunOnFlat). Neither of these had "All Season" verbiage like they did on the Base 328i. |

I've seen some sport rim (18" std rim) photos that make them look two-tone. These on this thread (red car) do not look that way.
How are these rims finished?

According to e90fleet in another post:
http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...1&postcount=86 As far as I can tell from reading on the pirelli site, the P7 exists in both all season and summer versions. |
