Black kidney Grills or Silver & Black Kidney grills

Hi,
I am confused b/w standard OEM Chrome panel and completely black kidney grills. I was thinking to replace them with black eidtion.

I thought to use photo shop to colour it black to see how they look on E90 (my poor photo shop skills).

After changing it, I am not sure wether I should go for it or not.

I did not tell my other half and showed her both photos and she prefered OEM kidney grills. It really made me to think twice before I opt for black kidney grills.

I personally think black kidney grills gives it aggressive look.

Has anybody done it, and if yes can you please post the photo of your E90?

Here is the photo with both images (sorry for poor photos, as its rubbish iphone) and I would like to hear from the people what they think of it.

Cheers.

Ha!

Me too m1bjr, I was getting a bit sick of the black ones, just too many about now as well. Mainly on spangled 320's etc.

The 6 cylinder grills are a differentiator too and the chrome slats look great, the car looks loads better with them back in.

And I notice chrome trim is making a comeback on lots of new cars, the all-black look is a bit dated now IMO.

OP - stick with chrome mate.

Thanks both of you.
You made it very easy.

Going to stick with OEM.
