Sirius satellite subscription renewal

Did anyone here renew their satellite subscription after the free 12 month period?

Do you know if there are any promos from the posted rates on the Sirius Canada website?

I really enjoy the variety of music they offer but I just cant justify paying the standard rate of $200 per year to listen to music for a couple of hours a week in my car.

How about the BMW Assist service? Anyone here pay to renew that? The only time I had called them was to sign up when I bought my car. Never called them back to ask for directions or to help me make dinner reservations

I've renewed both each year I've had my car, but unfortunately at regular price.

My father in law with an Altima renewed and they knocked the price down 75%.

He just kept refusing to renew and they kept dropping the price.

Sirius Canada has an auto billing system that will renew your subscription automatically if you don't call in to cancel.

I phoned them a couple of weeks ago asking them to cancel my service in April 2012.

The lady on the phone asked why and then offered to drop the year rate to $75. I will do the same next year and the year after that lol

Quick question: are all E90s with logic 7 compatible with sirius ?

$75 sounds like a good deal. I'm going to try to get this price for both my cars

I'm pretty sure they are but you have to buy the satellite module that installs in the truck. I bought mine off eBay and the local dealership installed it for $100 (which pisses me off because it just plugs in).
