Hooker quit his teaching job at Enochs High School last week and left his wife and children, one of them an Enochs student, to live with Enochs senior Jordan Powers.

Modesto police are investigating whether there was inappropriate contact before the girl turned 18 last fall.

Hooker acknowledges the couple hurt a lot of people, but says they decided to follow their hearts.

Looks pretty suspicious to me, regardless of the fact she is now considered an adult.

Under 18 would be a minor. Unfamiliar with age of consent in California.

Guys a tool for bailing on his family, but she's 18 so what the hell do I care. Probably did do something illegal... Just like every other senior high school kid boning their slightly younger GF when they turned 18. Yeah, let's not have a double standard here just cause he's old and she's mediocre at best lol.
