Good technical read on turbocharging.

I'm sure its been posted before, but Maximum Boost: Designing, Testing, and Installing Turbocharger Systems by Corky Bell is an excellent read on what goes into a complete effective turbocharged application.

It also promotes greater respect to AA, Shiv and others. Keep up the great work.

Corky is a good friend of mine. We've done the engine calibration on many of his turbo kits. Real nice guy and a wealth of information.

Yep.. Gerhard is a friend of Corkys. I've known of him for over 10 years but met him for the first time last year at Corky's house in San Antonio. I believe they both work together in the intercooler biz. When I first talked to Gerhard back in the 90s, he was with Aerodyne.

Cool...

Yep, Gerhard was with Corky at Bell Intercoolers when I was designing and manufacturing the above intake manifold with integrated liquid/air IC. I was getting the cores from them and Gerhard supplied many useful tips during the design phase.

Obviously Corky has had a very illustrious career. But Gerhard certainly has his own talking points. Both are worthy of the upmost respect.

+1, A friend bought it for me when I got my first car, a 1987 Chrysler Lebaron 2.2l turbo. It was a 7 year old hand-me-down from an uncle, but damn if it didn’t haul ass.
