No but yes.

Grammatically it's not correct. The "AN" is only used to prelude a word that starts with a vowel.

Now...when you say what you wrote down out loud...it sounds correct.

I'm pretty sure this is entirely wrong. You don't say "an unique perspective" it's "a unique persepective". For the same reason, if LOL is pronounced "el oh el", then it is "an LOL" not "a LOL".

If the word sounds like it starts with a vowel use "an", otherwise use "a". Whether or not it actually starts with a vowel is irrelevant.
