Do I somehow transfer the multi-function buttons from my existing wheel?

Everything is still working find for me after ///Matt did the job for me. I already had the sports steering wheel so it was a direct swap with the airbag and all.

If you have the sports package, yes
if you do not have the sports package, you need to buy new ones, new airbag, etc..
