wtf WAS that. I was trying to get onto some sopranos forums but they're all timing out. There better a movie, or another season or SOMETHING. ANYTHING!!

There will definitely be something else. Friends we know own a house on Hallendale Beach (FL) own a house and they were filming sopranos stuff their a few weeks ago.

alright, tho not the ending everyone was waiting for, this is my take on it.

the show ended leaving many questions unanswered, which of course is a Hollywood trick to keep people wanting more and getting a buzz out. also leaves the door open to a come back later on, or a movie.
but..
with the ending shown, it can be taken as there is still more to come or that tony gets whacked.
if you remeber when tony and bobby were on the boat the questions comes up of "when its your time, do you hear it?" again they brought it up in this episode.
well based on the last scene, tony looked up at every person entering the dinner, it showed it as it was from his eyes.
Meadow enters the dinner as you can hear the bell on the door ring and the last shot is of the table, maybe they were right that you dont hear it coming, going out with just a black screen and no music.
IMO they got us by the ball's, which is right where they want us, leaves you wondering all this, or they can bring it back later on or go on to do a movie if not a series of movies.

Actually, that's a nice analysis and a good theory - kind of unspoils it for me.

ending kind of left open to interpretation.

i like the way the story line developed momentum this season. started off with the weird episode at the lakehouse, with carmela, bobby & tony's sister. over the last few weeks, it seems like everything was getting more and more out of hand.

That's part of my conclusion too. I think the guy with the Members Only jacket on killed Tony after coming from the bathroom (straight from the Godfather movie) To further explain, in last week's episode, Tony had a flashback to him and Bobby sitting in the boat on the lake (b4 BB kicked his ass). They are talking about getting whacked and BB says something like this, 'you won't see or hear anything, just cut to black'.

Tony is dead.

very good theory.

after reading some more on other sites, this is what i found:

1. the guy at the counter is nikki leotardo, nephew of phil neotardo.
2. the black guys by the juke box were the same black guys that tried to kill tony in the past.
3. the trucker was the brother of the guy who got robbed by christopher (dvd players were robbed).
4. the boy scouts were in the train store before bobby got killed.

though the ending is more interesting now, i still feel the that episode overall wasn't very good.

those items have been circulating pretty fast around the web, but not sure if they are true. plus, how would any of them know where they planned to have dinner that night?

anybody have every episode tivo'd to verify?
