Hi! on my BMW E91 2009 my Westfalia electric power Towbar dont lock it self!

The engine sounds but it just hanging down and dont lock eather way!

is there anyone who can help me out and tell me how to fix this!?

I have the exact same problem om my 2009 335D. Please tell me that you found a solution?

I got the error message " Trailer tow hitch locking!" in my iDrive and it sounds the warning signal continously.

When I stopped the car it started making a clonking sound repeatedly. It was the locking mechanism engaging and disengaging over and over again. Despite the car being off and the ignition key removed. It will only stop when I manually hold the tow bar in top position. As soon as I let go it starts clanking again after a minute or so.

It's Easter and the dealer is closed :-(

Har du funnet ut av problemet? Jeg fikk akkurat samme problem her om dagen med min E91 2009 touring. "trailer tow hitch locking". Jeg ser at du er fra Sverige, så jeg antar at du forstår hva jeg skriver
