Red Oild LIght after oil change

I was having red oil light in the morning for the last 2 days, so i decided to change the oil(old oil had 3k miles on it), went to BMW bough 7 quarts of oil and changed it, but no luck still red oil light comes every morning for few seconds. BTW car doesn't show much oil it has, when i try to see measurement it keeps circling thinking..... anyone had this problem before? bad oil sensor?

you have to drive for a while before the measurement works. is that what you're doing?

5 to 10 miles should have done it. It won't show you anytime, you need to drive the car a coupe of miles before it shows you anything beside that clock..
could be a bad oil sensor.

Your oil level sensor might be busted.
