JB4 overboosting after DP install

I installed some 3" downpipes this weekend and now my car is seriously overboosting. Map 1 boosting at almost 17 psi! Map 1,2, and 5 all produce the same results (about 17 psi in second gear).

Running 3/7 firmware (newest)
Map 0 feels stock.

This log was done with map 1.

I cant read JB4 logs, they are so confusing with their light colors and only a single graph.

17 PSI is just in the mid-range? That isnt a big deal. Is the throttle closing? Send it to BMS.

he's hitting about 17psi 3,500-4,200rpm

o/p map 1 is set to target 13psi. Redo your logs and send the .csv file to terry because the .csv log will contain all information and not just the selected values you decide to add to the graph. Why does your screen show a # in the meth value?

You may have the downpipe clamp interfering with the wastegate arm. But if you need help on the tuning end just email a CSV log to BMS.

That's what I was thinking, but if that's the case, why does it run fine on map 0?

Show timing, throttle blade position and boost target. I find JB4 logs very easy to read, just need the right data displayed!

It really isn't adding much waste-gate duty cycle at the beginning where you are hitting around 17psi. Just towards the end when it wants to taper.

Just two things its well over what Map 1 should deliver & 17psi is a system default don’t exceed limit. Could be something is screwed up & its not Map 1 holding boost too 17psi but the default limiter doing it instead.

I just got an email back from terry. I'm going to make the changes he recommended and report back after I drive to lunch and test it.

Car seems to be running great now! Terry had me set Future Use D to 2, according to him this is an alternative duty cycle mapping that some cars prefer.

overboost 30fe

I am having a lot of issue with over boosting, I tried map 1, 2 and 5 and after I go WOT check engine light come one and jb4 go to map 4. My mods are jb4, dci, and dp. I just got brand new turbos from bmw, spark plugs, coil pack, selenoids and new vacuums lines. My codes are 30fe(boost over target), 3100(low boost mode engaged) 29f5 (cat less dp detected, 29f4(catless dp detected) On some logs I could not even go over 3rmp on 3rd gear. The half engine will come up and I will loose all the power. Any help will be appreciate. I have 2 logs but they are not the best
