Ebay E90 Service Manuals on DVD?

I was looking to purchase the Bently service manual on amazon, but saw the manuals supposedly being offered on DVD on E-bay.

I'd like to be able to do some basic work myself or at least have a reference if a problem does come up. Does anyone have any experience with these? Should I even consider them?

If you are talking about the TIS DVD, I bought it, it took forever to install and I find it hard to use and pretty much useless.

If you are going to keep your car for a while Bentley is the way to go. The TIS DVD is cheap because it is pirated. It does not have a lot of detail but can be of some help. Bentley is much better. Mine has paid for itself understanding better how the systems work, maintenance and basic repairs I have done

And you have to email the seller to make sure that your YEAR car is actually covered on the DVD.

A lot of them state what models they include, but not the years. After inquiring with several of the vendors, not a one included an 09' - so it's highly doubtful that 2011 is included...

The Bentley Manual is best choice

Thanks, I'll be sure to go with the Bently manual. It looks like Amazon has the best price out there unless I can find a used one.
