Ticketed for loud music

I got a to ticket for loud music today. I guess the logic 7 system In my 330i is too loud. Damn cops got nothin better to do.

Does the ticket specify a state law or local ordinance? Here in my area, it's a local ordinance that states if the music can be heard 60ft from the vehicle at ANY time of the day, it's a violation.

Yes indeed loud music is a must in cali. I live in OR now been here for 8 months and when i have loud music people here just look at me like im stupid lol oh do i miss hearing or feeling the house shakes from loud music from people driving by in LA. Where in Cali are you ?

logic 7 is pretty loud with the windows up. usually when i have it halfway turned up and go inside my house to get something i can hear my cars music thumpin from my basement. but i also have all my audio settings to high and bass all the way up, but that sucks.

A friend of mine got ticketed for this too! And she was in a BMW... 328i I think. And it was in Los Angeles

What's bad is that if I'm not mistaken, even music is a moving violation. So you need traffic school/it goes on your record.

NYPD pulled me over once with the logic 7..I just said to the officer.."but look its stock"..and he proceeded to tell me "thats stock??? crank it up"..

Yes I had sunroof and front windows down. I'm in Bakersfield CA. I've been told it sounds pretty good from a distance but still for a stock set up I think it was ridiculous.

I gotta agree with E90_boostjunky that w/ the bass all the way up, it gets pretty loud. I always drive w/ my convertible top down, and cranking the music up. I guess I gotta watch out.
