Should we keep BWM 325xi 2006 ?

Hello,

I'm new here and new to the BMW world.

I currently have a Legacy GT LDT 2005 and my girlfriends did buy a 325xi 2006 with Sport Package (seems to be a based model with only the Sport Packge and 330 wheels) for her parental break (new baby born).

I really love my LGT, but he's manual, my girlfriends does drive manual.

I really like how the BWM drive, but I feel it's lacking a bit of power. But since it's already payed, I'm wondering if I should keep it at the end of the year of should we sell it?

So...

Is there's a way to give it a little more power? Like 250-270 bhp (to match my LGT). Is the AWD can hold it?

Is those care are prone to a lot of maintenance?

Ask your questions and give your comments !

I don't believe there is a non-insane way to get the 325i into that horsepower range. aftermarket performance gains are limited.

okay and if we remove that from the equation, would you keep it ? Or I should target a newer one.

I would keep it, and get BMW performance exhaust, and an intake.

So, based on your comments, I should not fear for the fiability ?

I have to choose between my already payed LGT (not that reliable, but most of the bad things already been changed/upgraded.) and this BMW (might have to give 7000-8000$ to my girlfriend for it... still no big deal).

Oh, I love that TSM article. The Stage 3 Dyno look weird on the torque line (was spinning?), but I like it!

Altrought I'm use to get 200tq at ~3000rpm, I guess I'll get use to that non-turbo car.

Thanks for those comments, at least, I know I can keep it and be confident. I only need to make a decision.
