328I Order to Dealer, Times?

Can all that have order a 328i list the Date order, and the date it got to dealer. I am asking this to see if my 328i is taking too long.

I order: 13th of March.

At Dealer: Not yet. it's been 8 weeks and 2 days.

I was told yesterday by CA it got on a truck the 8th of May.

I call the sales manager today and the car was released to the trucking carrier but has not shipped yet. So, it looks like it's going to be 9 weeks for a 328i.

I ordered my 328i on March 16th.

Production finished April 11th (1 week late) and got on a ship (DEMETER LEADER) April 28th out of Bremerhaven. It's scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on May 25th, so I probably won't see it until sometime in June, 11+ weeks from my order time.

Patience...

Ordered March 26th.

Arrived Brunswick, GA April 27th.

May 10th, car still not at dealership.

Wrapping up week 7.

I think 11 weeks my be OK, if you lived in HI, or you order a 335i. I think your car is taking a little long too.

My CA stated 8 weeks when I ordered. It took a week longer than planned to get through production, a week to get to the port, and a week to get on a ship.

Shipping to California takes 25 days or so. My worry is how long will it take to get from the arrival port through the VPC and to the dealer (about 30 miles).

At least you are out of the VPC!

I guess it pays to be in Maryland. I will probably order my vehicle, a first for me, but I hear that BMW uses Baltimore as a port. I'll have to ask my dealer what port they get their orders from.

It took me about 9.5 weeks to get my F30 in Hawaii, that is from order to delivery =)

Mine is estimated 14 to 15 weeks and it only needs to travel a couple hundred of miles...

Just like ArkGroot, I was told 6 weeks too! completed 8 weeks today. CA left me a VM saying that the EPA has placed a 10 day hold on the F30s produced in a certain time range due to a headrest issue that the VDC will address. Did anyone else hear the same?
