Lumber supports deflate overnight

I have a 2010 335 M Sport Coupe - has anyone else had this on the seats before ? They don't go flat, they just go softer overnight, so I need to pump a bit more air in every morning

I just thought it was because you were thinner in the morning, and needed 'hugging' a bit tighter?

On the way home, I often let them out a bit!

Same as you are about 1" taller in the morning, so I always have to drop the seat a little (electrically of course) to get the rear view right as that's easier than moving the mirror up!

I've lost 10lb in weight in the last 3 months and I haven't had to adjust my seats at all.

Que?? I thought it was common sense nick?

The average person is at least 1" taller in the morning than they are at the end of the day as the cartilage in the spine compresses during the day.

It all relaxes again as you sleep, and the extra height is all in the upper torso. So if you're taller, but weight the same then your waist / chest will be 'thinner'. Can't you always get a belt notch tighter in the morning than in the evening?

We had to stop measuring our little girls height at tea time as she'd get really upset that she was 1 or 2cm shorter than a week before when we'd measured her at breakfast.

Check in your rear view mirror in the morning, I bet you can see a bit more roof lining in it than you can on the way home tonight

I see this is going to be a bit of a challenge to get a serious answer that may actually help

Did a bit of a test last night and pumed it hard
this morning I noticed only the right hand side seem to deflate.

It still holds some pressure just softer than the other side.

May be its a leaky implant eh

Yea, I can vouch for this, my cartilage had to be changed after its running in service, had done over 10,000 days and I was pleased with how it held up. Work was expensive but luckily NHS covered it under warranty. I negotiated hard and ended up stumping out a little extra and settled for the new Bilstein Coilover Cartilage.

The difference is night and day, litterally. So far I have won the race to be first in the bathroom every morning, in particular i can lean through the S bends between bedroom 2 and 3 quite hard and gain good traction out on the home straight.

All in all well worth it.

Oh and O.P give Katie Price a call, she might be able to help with your inflation issue.

Booked in for a days work in a couple of weeks time to have the side air bags in the seat replaced under warranty. Following this minor procedure it will be hard all the time
