Crappy Boost between shifts :/
okay I'm running the alpha JB4 firmware with 50:50 e85/93
anyways mods are in the signature, when i take the ramp on the highway at WOT powers is awesome boost is up to about 17~18ish, but my problem is when it comes to shift..i feel like I'm losing power and my PSI drops to about 10~11ish at WOT.. I've been looking at Forge DVs or BOVs in general... is this a symptom of my stock DVs leaking bunch of boost out? if so, should aftermakrt DVs or BOVs fix it? any input would be appreciated! |

boost tapers towards redline.
Having low boost between shifts is normal as there is no load on the engine, and the throttle body is going to be mostly closed. Figure out what your peak boost is supposed to be with that map at your elevation, and compare it against what you have. Or log and find out what target boost vs actual boost is. If there is a discrepancy then you may have leaking DV's. Also, if you are running 16+ psi of boost and are still on stock DV's, you might as well replace them anyway. |

which Alpha firmware are you trying out? 5/23 is the latest Beta revision, you may want to try that.
