Favorite cars of your past thread. PICS
I think we focus too much on the biggest and fastest cars of today and not enough on what stepping stones we used to get there.
Post a car that you used to own or remember really liking and a pic: Heres mine: 1995-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX: it had nothing to do with the first Fast and the Furious coming out, I was simply obsessed with this car, every time I saw a 2G eclipse I'd check the back to see if it had a GS-T or X badge and til this day think it looks fantastic, though people will talk trash about DSM but I'd really like to own a clean one even now.

Here is my old car:
I'm currently really obsessed with wagons. I would take a wagon over a standard sedan any day. (for the 3-series atleast)

I sold this car about 6 years ago. '01 Z28 I used for autocrossing and daily driving. I autocrossed the piss out of it, and it was a hoot. Sold it to a good friend who has taken very good care of it since then.

I drove a 94 FD years ago and still remember the thing, what a PITA but memorable to say the least.
I'll submit another. AP2 Honda s2000... not practical at all but one of my favorites, nothing like some highway carving in one of these.

Why what? Why was it my favorite car?
I put 70k trouble free miles on it, was able to haul friends plus guns plus thousands of rounds of ammo all over the state. Hauled everything i needed it to in comfort. I loved that thing. But i sold it and got my current 330i as i changed jobs and got a hefty commute. Me second favorite was my '76 MG B GT V8. 220hp, rover 5 speed, short gear ratio. Not a BMW i could find was safe. Neither was anyone in it....lol |

My dad still has his 93 Montego Blue FD, it's a fun car. I replaced my Miata with this, which I sold this earlier this year, can't figure out what to replace it with:
