Comfort Access ?

My 335i sedan didn't have CA so I'm new to it now that I have my 335i Coupe and it has the CA.

When I push the stop button once to turn the car off, my stereo and onboard computer lights (and a few others inside lights) stay on.
Even after getting out of my car, they stay on until I lock my car.

I have found I can turn these lights off by hitting the stop button a second time as long as I don't have my foot on the brake (otherwise the car will start back up).

Is this normal? And is hitting the stop button the second time the only way to completely turn the stereo and accessory lights off while inside the car?
I often don't lock my car when it's inside my garage, and I don't want to one day forget to hit the stop button a second time only to find my battery is dead because these accessory lights and stereo stayed on.

Thanks

It is normal. You can also turn off everything by holding in the stop button for a longer period (1-2 sec?). This can be done with the foot on or off the brake.

Power will also be turned off after 10-20 minutes of no activity.

On my E90 you just continue to hold the button in after the engine shuts off and everything shuts down.

To avoid running the battery down.. just hold the button in for a longer period of time - 2-3 secs +. Just pushing it once quickly will shut the engine off but leave the accessory function on. This is obviously not the case if you use the fob instead.. just pushing it in and pulling out the fob will shut everything off. Man I love CA - didnt have it on my 330i but do now on the 335i and I dont know what I would have done without it.

Yep sometimes if I sit in the car and wait for someone, it'll eventually shut down.
