Safe parking... or not
This is OTT! Spotted near the airport in Milwaukee.

Yet another reason why people dislike BMW drivers!

I probably would have driven home jumped in my beater and parked right on top of him just for fun.

+1 on all of these!
I have always said, even if I owned a $250k supercar, I would never "park it stupid" like setting up cones or taking up more than one spot. It just screams, PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO MY CAR, I AM AN A-HOLE!!!! |

I love it. It's really not as douchy as you think, it's more OCD.
But if you are driving a 7 series and are worried about parking, you should just get a limo/car to take you to the airport. |

I don't see what he did that was so bad, the cones are within his spot, he is parked in a corner, for all you know, some poor kid is driving his dad's car. I think it's more of a part foul when you cross lines and 'hard' park.

Hopefully the sprinklers go off every day and leave lots of salty water spots on his precious car. It's actually a good parking job, if he just hadn't used the cones.

I think taking up more than 1 spot or putting up cones is extreme.
I always park very far away in the far end of the parking lot away from everyone. Then it is my choice to walk the extra few feet and take the extra time. But to park NEAR everyone else and expect special treatment, that's asking for trouble. |

The cones thing looks a little silly but I don't blame people for trying to avoid other cars in parking lots. I've had a few cars damaged in parking lots and the people who've done the damage have never left a note or made some other effort to do the right thing. |

Parked very respectably and cared enough about their car to spend 45 seconds putting cones next to it. Don't see the big deal?

I don't see anything wrong about it. It might be a safety hazzard that his door might come off at a near by child.
