Why leatherette?
For those of you that ordered theaterette, why'd you do it? I just don't understand why anyone would buy an expensive or even moderately expensive car without leather seats? I've seen a lot of people with E92 335's with Nav, Sport Pckg, ect. and they didn't even get real leather? What's the deal?

because we're poor and this is the only way we can afford a BMW.
I'm also parting out the car to meet my monthly payments, so if anyone needs headrests, floor mats, or rear view mirrors, let me know. |

A leather interior does not a BMW make I'd seriously and happily get the cloth or half cloth interior if available as found/shown by our european friends

leatherette is a tough option for warmer climate places since it isn't a breathable material like leather. your back will get all sweaty even under seasonal summer temps. too bad BMW won't make perforated leather/leatherette seats.. that would probably address the sweaty-back leatherette issue.
