ON THE tYSLA

according to my CA, 335 is on the Tysla due into Baltimore 7/26/2012. Add another 2 weeks to Chicago area, and I should be in the driver's seat.

Knauz BMW in Lake Bluff, Il. did a great job on this for me. I should get my new "purchased" car just as my lease on the 135 expires. Thank you David.

for anyone asking, completion date was 7/5/2012

Any way to handicap how long to get through the delivery center and down to DC now that it's arrived?

From what I've read we are at the mercy of the EPA certification process.

Assuming that gets taken care of quickly, I'm guessing (hoping) 10-14 days before they begin arriving on southern dealer lots.

Does the cert process only happen since they are the first 2013's coming in? I thought the delivery center justed washed them to get the "foreign" dirt off, put on US spec attachments, and then sent them on. Sorry to be dense.

Hopefully the 2013 models have passed EPAcertification. The current batch of ships hitting the US are bringing in the first of the 2013s.

Hopefully they can pass thru the VPC quickly and get on the trucks and to our dealers. I don't think anyone on any of those ships wants the cars sitting in port waiting for the government to sit on its hands. We will know soon.

Last I heard (a few days ago) there was still a 'hold' on the MY2013 certification.

that sucks. After the drive for team USA seat time in the 335 sport, I am more than "ready" for my new car.

I was afraid of that. Don't know how clunky the EPA process is, but hopefully it will move along.
