Kids love the Chevy Volt?

Accord to this commercial kids run after the volt like it's an ice cream truck and give the owner the thumbs up....

pretty sure kids could care less about MPGs and the owners that drive them, but maybe it's just me hahaha I know when I was a kid I ran after exotic sports cars and laughed at little eco boxes but then again I was raised right lol

I don't think that's a fully loded one
You pay extra for the "self-ignite" feature

Better get used to it. I don't imagine BMW will be giving away the i cars, either.

My wife and i just got a mini countryman. It's hard to beat the efficiency of that car when coupled with the looks, interior and fun factors.

Until all electric cars start looking like the Fiskers and drop to a reasonable price we'll keep the mini for the fuel efficient vehicle.

I wonder how the efficiency will be impacted with the installation of 22 inch chrome wheels?

A guy in my neighborhood has one of these in black... It's pretty awesome, I gotta admit.

I see 2-3 volts when Im dropping my sister off at school. Ive never seen any of the kids look at the volt, but a few have come up to me and asked to see the top go up and down on my Z.

Also my sisters school is like 20-30 mins from where the guy from that commercial lives.

Ever since I first saw the Volt commercial I questioned the part about kids giving the guy a thumbs up. But I find Mazda commercials a little more comical with their "We build Mazdas what do you drive?" line. I find myself responding to it in my head with "The ultimate driving machine!" I know I'm strange haha.

The Volt is monopolizing on the Santa Monica Prius market. Rich people who are too bashful about their wealth feel the need to make a frugal statement. I think it's foolish and ugly.

My dad recently bought a brand new 2012 Corvette. We joked that he got it for about $1,500 less than the sticker price of the Volt parked right next to it.
