E91 rattle/squeek - can you help?

Hi all,

I have an annoying rattle/squeek in the rear loadspace area of my touring. I'm pretty sure its not the retractable cover as mentioned in other threads but rather the trim that the rear seatbelt passes through and surrounds the bracket for the cover.
I think its rubbing against the window/body under the window, so I'd like to remove the trim and stick foam all around where it meets the window and see if that solves it.

I have all the tools required and have tried levering it, pulling it, pushing it and it still doesn't want to move, as if there are screws holding it on, not just clips.
I've looked on realoem.com at the part but i cant see any fixing points that stand out.

If anyone knows how to remove the trim it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

ok, after a bit more searching on realoem.com i can see that the trim piece outlined in red is attached over the piece outlined in green in the picture below.
Can anyone confirm whether it is merely clipped or attached another way to the bottom trim?

thanks

Right.

The latch that the load cover clicks onto is held on by 2 or 3 bolts. Unscrew those first and remove the latch, then that piece of trim just pulls off, starting at the front.

I tried that already and the trim just flexed. Didn't want to pull too hard in case I broke something. Can you confirm it is just held in with plastic clips and i need to just pull a bit harder?

Thanks

Yep the screws you can see straight away are the only ones. Feels horrible pulling when you're not sure, doesn't it?

Like I said, grab it at the front where it meets the seat, and pull outwards and upwards.
