iPhone 4 Adapter/Iphone 5
Im curious to know. I want to buy the iPhone 4 cradle, because I like the idea of not using the cord, and the car antenna will enhance the reception, plus video playback. My main question is. Will BMW come up with a cradle for the upcoming iPhone 5 in a timely fashion, with the rumor of a smaller 19 pin connector

i'm sure they will release one for the iphone 5
but i'd bet good money it won't be this year

Put IOS 6 on your iPhone 4S and it will be as good as a iPhone 5, the base connector on the iPhone 5 is suppose to change but it will still run IOS 6.
I have a iphone 4S running IOS 6 and can get emails & messages on ny Idrive, the iDrive even reads the emails & messages out. As said it will take 6 months before BMW release a new cradle for the iPhone 5, whether you have a iphone 4S or iPhone 5 will make no difference as IOS 6 works with the BMW iDrive.
